Here at Lovesac of Dallas we take President’s Day very seriously, and by “we” I mean “I”, and by seriously, I mean I wear a Wig and Cross creeks when it’s really cold, carrying an American Flag. Though that is just a weekend thing anyways, the flag is a holiday thing.
Enough about how I personally Celebrate a Holiday about the best presidents of all time. WE got Lovesac to talk about. You must be asking yourself , “What is Tyler talking about?” I’m talking SAVINGS, what kind? The best Kind, I cannot lie about this. Whats better than getting a 4 base 5 side Sactionals set? Because George “G-Dubya” Washington is being celebrated with his chum, Abe “Too Tall” Lincoln.
Why pick this day to celebrate? Well this day used to be called “Washington’s Birthday”, but a new act in the 70′s proposed as the “Uniform Monday Holiday Act” to change the name to Presidents Day to give Abe Lincoln a cut of the action (citation not required) It wasn’t until the 80s when the name was promoted as Presidents Day. It is set on the 3rd Monday of every February. So mark your Calender!
